About Devorah
Originally from Toronto, Devorah first moved to Tel Aviv in 2023 and has since made the city her home. She is currently completing her Master's in Counselling Psychology through the University of Toronto, alongside her clinical placement at The Clinic at Therapy Tel Aviv. She works with individual adults experiencing challenges with self-worth, relationships, life transitions, anxiety, and periods of feeling stuck.
Before beginning her current training, she completed a two-year Clinical Mental Health Counselling program, including a clinical internship working with adult clients. This experience helped shape the warm, collaborative, and practical approach she brings to therapy today.
Devorah's Approach
At the heart of Devorah's work is the belief that every person has inherent worth, independent of achievement, productivity, or the approval of others. She aims to create a space where clients feel genuinely seen and understood, helping them approach their experiences with compassion while exploring what they may want to change, what they can learn to accept, and how to navigate what lies outside their control.
Her clinical approach is client-centered, integrative, and trauma-informed. She tailors therapy to each person's goals, considering how relationships, culture, identity, neurodiversity, and life experiences shape what they're going through. Her work combines exploration of past and present experiences with practical tools, drawing on humanistic, psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioural, narrative, and third-wave approaches, including ACT and DBT.
A note on supervision: Devorah provides clinical services under the supervision of a clinical psychologist. As part of this arrangement, Devorah meets with her supervisor weekly to discuss her clinical work and receive guidance in supporting her clients.
Clinical interns and practitioners at The Clinic are independent providers, not Clinic employees.
