  • 🚴‍♂️ Join us for a fun and educational community bike safety event!

    Registered children will receive a FREE bicycle helmet, while supplies last, along with bike safety education and a proper helmet fitting.

    🕘 Time: Choose a 45-minute group session between 2:30 PM and 6:30 PM

    Please arrive 5–10 minutes before your scheduled session.

    During the session, children and parents will:
    • Watch a short bike safety video
    • Participate in a fun bike safety Q&A with Dr. Vishalakshmi Batchu and team
    • Learn important helmet safety tips
    • Receive a properly fitted bicycle helmet

    You are welcome to take photos and share your experience with family, friends, or on social media.

    👧👦 Who can participate: Children ages 4–14. A parent or guardian must accompany the child.

    ✨ Helmets are provided through the Texas Medical Association’s Hard Hats for Little Heads program, with support from Dr. Vishalakshmi Batchu at Internal Medicine Associates of Houston.

      Each child requires a separate signup form submission.

    • Choose Helmet Size (Required) 
    • Measure first, then choose a size. Use a flexible tape and measure your child’s head circumference level with the eyebrows and ears (the widest part of the head). Keep the tape snug, not tight. Match your measurement to the ranges shown in inches. We’ll fine-tune the fit on site.*

    • 🧢 How to Measure Your Child’s Head for a Helmet

      Use a soft measuring tape and wrap it around the widest part of your child’s head, about 1 inch above the eyebrows and just above the ears. Keep the tape snug, but not tight.

      Note the measurement and select the closest helmet size below.

      If your child is between sizes, choose the larger size. We will confirm the size and properly fit the helmet at the event.

      👉 Please arrive 5 minutes early to check in. Sessions are limited to 17 children per group (along with parents)
