Class Size & Attendance: Class sizes are limited to ensure individualized instruction. Attendance is generally limited to one (1) handler per registration. Additional attendees are permitted only with prior approval from the provider.

Caging & Off-Leash Handling: I understand that this class utilizes crates and off-leash handling of dogs of all breeds and sizes. I acknowledge that my dog will be crated during other dogs' training time as part of the class structure and safety protocol.

Registration & Payment: All dogs must be preregistered, and payment or a check must be received during the first week of class. Enrollment is not confirmed and a space in class is not reserved until full payment has been received.

Pre-Approval Requirement: Prior to initial registration, all prospective participants must contact Jeni and Julie at 2j4paws@gmail.com to discuss training needs and obtain approval. Participants are responsible for monitoring their email, including spam or junk folders, for responses.

Refund Policy – General: After the stated registration due date or once the class has commenced, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances, except as expressly outlined below.

Refund Policy – Limited Exceptions: Refunds may be granted solely at the provider's discretion and only with appropriate supporting documentation. Acceptable circumstances may include, but are not limited to: Bitches in season, Verified medical or health-related issues supported by written veterinary documentation. Other circumstances reviewed and approved at the sole discretion of the provider If approved, any refund shall be limited to the amount of the class fee that is refundable. Refund determinations will be made only after all required documentation has been submitted and reviewed.

Drop-Ins & Make-Up Classes: All drop-in or make-up class attendance requires prior approval from Jeni and Julie to ensure placement in an appropriate skill level.

Vaccination & Veterinary Requirements: All new students must provide proof that their dog is current on the following veterinary records:

• Distemper/Parvovirus vaccine with Parainfluenza (DHPP or DAPP)
• Bordetella (Kennel Cough) – recommended but not required
• Rabies vaccination for dogs four (4) to five (5) months of age or older
• Puppies must be a minimum of ten (10) weeks of age and have received at least two (2) of the three (3)-shot Distemper/Parvo series

All documentation must be emailed, preferably in PDF format, to 2j4paws@gmail.com prior to participation.

Class Cancellations: Any class cancellations due to emergencies will be posted on the website calendar and the 2j4paws Training Academy Facebook page. It is the participant's responsibility to check for cancellations prior to attending class.

AGREEMENT TO HOLD HARMLESS WAIVER AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK
 
I hereby agree to participate in activities of and hereby agree to abide by the rules and regulations of 2J4Paws, The Training Academy. I understand that attendance of a dog training class &/or boarding is not without risk to myself, member of my family or guest who may attend, or my dog. I hereby waive and release 2J4Paws, The Training Academy, its owner, and any agent from any or all liability of any nature, for injury or damage which I or my dog may suffer, including specifically, but not without limitations, any injury while attending any training class or other function of 2J4Paws, The Training Academy or while on the training grounds or the surrounding areas. In consideration of and as inducement to the acceptance of my application for training membership in the dog training class & or boarding. I hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless 2J4Paws, The Training Academy, its owners, employees, and agents from any and all claims or claims by any member of my family or any person accompanying me to any training session or function of 2J4Paws, The Training Academy, or while on the training grounds or the surrounding area thereto as a result of any action by any dog, including my own.
