The responsibilities of the HoPe Leadership Chapter President include, but are not limited to:
1. Lead and oversee the execution of your HoPe Leadership Chapter activities. (team, events, meetings, reporting, initiatives, etc).
2. Lead in establishing clear goals and objectives for your HoPe chapter.
3. Schedule and implement all HoPe Leadership Chapter General Monthly Meetings.
4. Oversee attendance reporting through Campus Groups for HoPe Leadership Chapter General Monthly Meetings
5. Responsible for scheduling and organizing monthly leadership team meetings (this includes all four Legacy Leaders and advisor/s).
6. Lead and implement all membership recruitment events with the support of your chapter's officers.
7. Responsible for overseeing and managing recruitment efforts for prospective Legacy Leaders for the 2026-2027 school year.
8. Prepare agenda for all HoPe Leadership Chapter Officer meetings.
9. Work with the chapter advisor to reserve rooms for all HoPe Leadership Chapter functions.
10. Must maintain a clean discipline record. Failure to do so may result in the removal as an officer.
11. Must attend the mandatory HoPe Youth Leadership Summit from July 17th - 19th at the University of North Georgia in Gainesville, GA.
We recommend that the Chapter President have very strong leadership, hospitality, time management, communication, and organizational skills and be open to learning and developing as a student, a human, and a leader. This officer leads the entire chapter and must do so with true passion. Proper training will be given at the HoPe Youth Leadership Summit and throughout the school year.
