All dogs require time, effort and patience. All of the information about our animals is based on observation within the shelter environment, and/or the information is provided by a third party and therefore, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the breed, age or behaviour. The health of the dog listed is accurate to the best of our knowledge.
Adoptions will happen based on the first approved home that is willing to take the dog, unless specific and special circumstances necessitates us to hold the dog.
All individuals who live in the home must come to meet the dog. Some dogs may have recommendations or requirements to meet any other dogs in the household.
We receive multiple applications for most dogs and puppies. If you do not get a response, the dog is likely no longer available. Due to staffing levels and the volume of applications received, it is not always possible for us to respond to each applicant.
There will be no reimbursement of any adoption fee for any animal that is returned to the Saskatoon SPCA by reason of landlord refusal.
