ALL FIRED UP SUMMER ART CAMP WELCOME PACKAGE
We can’t believe that it is summer already and we hope that everyone had a really good school year. We thought that we would take this opportunity to welcome you to the 18th year of our summer art program! We are really excited that you decided to join us and for those of you who are returning welcome back! This welcome package contains general information regarding the camp and forms which need to be filled out no later than the Saturday before the first day of your session.
GENERAL STUFF
CAMP HOURS:
Full day Sessions: Full day sessions run from 9-4:00.
Morning Sessions: Morning sessions run from 9-12:00.
Afternoon Sessions: Afternoon sessions run from 1-4.
After hour care for our full day artists is available for an additional fee. There is no after hour care available for our morning artists.
The studio will be open to you from 8:45 in the morning every day. If anyone needs to be dropped off earlier than let us know and we can arrange something.
FORMS: Please fill out the accompanying forms and submit by Saturday evening. Absolutely no one is allowed to enter the studio without us recieving their forms first.
SNACKS AND LUNCH: Everyone is to supply their own snacks and lunches. Please bring reusable water bottles which can be refilled as necessary during the day. Morning session artists are to bring a snack and full day artists are to bring 2 snacks and their lunch. Remember, NO NUTS OF ANY KIND!! Let us know if there are any other foods that your child is allergic to so that we can inform other families that they are not allowed to be eaten on site. Please note that due to Covid guidelines, all garbage will be sent home at the end of day so please try to pack litterless snacks and lunches.
CLOTHING: The first day we are going to make t-shirts to wear as smocks again. For those of you who were here last year, this will be a good way to see how much you have changed and grown artistically throughout the year. PLEASE make sure that you wear clothes that are ok to get stained each day– we are going to try our hardest to stay clean but it may not always work!
ZERO TOLERANCY POLICY: We at All Fired Up strive to provide a safe environment for you to be creative therefore, we have adapted a zero tolerance policy. Anyone acting in a demeaning or aggressive nature, which includes but is not limited to, inappropriate behavior or speech towards staff or other campers, will be immediately removed from our program and NO refunds will be issued.
REFUND POLICY: There will be no refunds issued once camp begins. There will be a $50 administration fee applied to cancellations that occur within one week of the start of the session.
WELLNESS POLICY: We consider everyone who comes into our studio as being vulnerable however, we need your help to achieve this. Please do NOT send your child(ren) to camp if they are exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19. All families will be required to complete the COVID-19 questionnaire as issued by Toronto Public Health on the first day of their session and any changes must be communicated via email immediately to jenn@afu-ceramics.com. Anyone exhibiting symptoms will be isolated and required to be immediately picked up.
COVID UPDATES/CHANGES
1. All snacks and lunches must be 100% litterless-ALL garbage will be packed up and sent home at the end of the day and absolutely no sharing.
2. CHECK IN: This year dropoff and pick up will be at the door, unfortunately because of numbers we cannot allow anyone other than the campers inside. Additional waivers will have to be signed, for example the Covid-19 contact form which states that your family has not come in contact with anyone with symptoms or illness etc.
3. Masks are up to the discretion of the individual families. Should your child will be wearing one please bring extras in their backpacks because they tend to get dirty throughout the day.
4. Everyone will use hand sanitizer or washing their hands upon entrance and exit. Hand washing and or sanitizer will happen A LOT! We are also asking that families supply their own if they want. We have sanitizer at the studio but it is best they have their own especially if they have sensitivities.
5. This summer all payments will be done via etransfer.
