Welcome, family, friends and loved ones. We are here today to participate in a most joyous occasion, to celebrate one of life's greatest moments, the wedding of Groom and Bride. Groom and Bride thank you for your presence today and ask for your blessing, encouragement and lifelong support. Groom and Bride, today you present yourself before your family and friends to become husband and wife. Before this company, you wish to share your commitment to the one you have found the deepest love, formed the deepest bonds, given the deepest trust. Marriage is perhaps the greatest and most challenging adventure. It must be built from love and patience, dedication and perseverance, talking and listening. Helping, supporting and believing in each other. Through tenderness and laughter, learning to forgive and to appreciate differences. By learning to make the important things matter, and to let go of the rest. No ceremony can create a marriage. What a ceremony can do is witness and affirm the choice to stand together as life mates and partners. So I ask each of you now, Groom, do you take Bride to be your lawfully wedding wife? Bride, do you take Groom to be your lawfully wedding husband?
Groom & Bride, you present yourself before me to become husband and wife. You have found in each other great passion, love and romance. You have a need, want, desire to forever commit to the one you have found the deepest love, formed the deepest bonds, given the deepest trust. So I ask each of you now, Groom, do you take Bride to be your lawfully wedding wife? Bride, do you take Groom to be your lawfully wedding husband?
Welcome, family, friends and loved ones. We gather here today to celebrate the wedding of Groom and Bride. We share in this commitment they make to one another, offer our love and support, so they may start their married life surrounded by the people dearest and most important to them. Groom, Bride, the step which you are about to take is the most important into which human beings can take. It is a union of two people founded upon mutual respect and affection. Your lives will change, your responsibilities will increase, but your joy will be multiplied if you are sincere and earnest with your pledge to one another. So I ask each of you now, Groom, do you take Bride to be your lawfully wedded wife? Bride, do you take Groom to be your lawfully wedded husband?

"What We Would Wish For You" Author Unknown. I cannot say what we would wish for you and your marriage. All of your dreams in life are your own and shall be fluid, ebbing and flowing from shore to shore as you discover the nature of each success and disappointment. We cannot wish for you to know no sorrows in the years ahead, for to never know sorrow would mean that you would never be blessed with anything worth while. We cannot wish for you a life without struggles, for that would mean a life without achievement. Yet we can wish that all the roads you travel and the feelings experienced along the way shall make your marriage stronger through the seasons. That your home and your togetherness shall forever remain a place of sanctuary and renewal That you share more joys than sorrows And that your relationship continues to grow and endure and inspire Today we wish nothing more or less than all that you hope and dream for yourselves. And that it last for a lifetime.
"Foundations Of A Marriage” by Regina Hill- Love, Trust, and Forgiveness are the foundations of marriage. In marriage, many days will bring happiness, while other days may be sad. But together, two hearts can overcome everything... In marriage, all of the moments won’t be exciting or romantic, and sometimes worries and anxiety will be overwhelming. But together, two hearts that accept will find comfort together. Recollections of past joys, pains, and shared feelings will be the glue that holds everything together during even the worst and most insecure moments. Reaching out to each other as a friend, and becoming the confidant and companion that the other one needs, is the true magic and beauty of any two people together. It’s inspiring in each other a dream or a feeling, and having faith in each other and not giving up... even when all the odds say to quit. It’s allowing each other to be vulnerable, to be himself or herself, even when the opinions or thoughts aren’t in total agreement or exactly what you'd like them to be. It’s getting involved and showing interest in each other, really listening and being available, the way any best friend should be. Exactly three things need to be remembered in a marriage if it is to be a mutual bond of sharing, caring, and loving throughout life: Love, Trust, and Forgiveness.
"Blessing For A Marriage" by James Dillet Freeman-May your marriage bring you all the exquisite excitements a marriage should bring, and may life grant you also patience, tolerance, and understanding. May you always need one another - not so much to fill your emptiness as to help you to know your fullness. A mountain needs a valley to be complete; the valley does not make the mountain less, but more; and the valley is more a valley because it has a mountain towering over it. So let it be with you and you. May you need one another, but not out of weakness. May you want one another, but not out of lack. May you entice one another, but not compel one another. May you embrace one another, but not out encircle one another. May you succeed in all important ways with one another, and not fail in the little graces. May you look for things to praise, often say, "I love you!" and take no notice of small faults. If you have quarrels that push you apart, may both of you hope to have good sense enough to take the first step back. May you enter into the mystery which is the awareness of one another's presence - no more physical than spiritual, warm and near when you are side by side, and warm and near when you are in separate rooms or even distant cities. May you have happiness, and may you find it making one another happy. May you have love, and may you find it loving one another!
"You and I are Connected" Author Unknown. You and I are connected in a way that goes beyond romance, beyond friendship, beyond what we've ever had before. It has defied time, distance, and changes in ourselves and in our lives. It has defied every explanation. Except one: Pure and simply, we're soul mates. I can't explain, I just feel it. It's there in the way my spirits lift whenever we talk. The sound of your voice brings me home, in a way I can't explain. It's in the delight I feel, when we laugh at exactly the same things. When I'm with you, it's like a tiny piece of the universe shifts into place. A place it's supposed to be, and all is right with the world. These things and so many more, have made me understand that this is a once in a lifetime, forever connection. A connection that could only exist between you and me. And deep in my soul, I know that our relationship is a rare gift. One that brings us extraordinary happiness all through our lives."

Unity Celebration
Couple must provide own unity kit.
UNITY CANDLE: you have chosen to affirm your love by the lighting of a unity candle. If you will please move to stand before the candles. It is said, ‘From every human being there rises a light that reaches straight to heaven. And when two souls are destined for each other and find each other, their streams of light flow together and a single, brighter light goes forth from their united being.’ (by Baal Shem Tov) If you will please take your individual candles and together light the center candle symbolizing the unity of your hearts and souls.
UNITY SAND: from this moment forth, your lives will no longer be two, but one. You have chosen to symbolize this joining. If you will please join me at the table for a Sand Ceremony. The sand in each individual container represents all that you were, all that you are, and all that you ever will be. When you pour the sand into the third container, the sand will forever be inseparable, just as the union of your hearts, your souls, your lives.
FIRST GIFT EXCHANGE: I would like you to exchange your first gift as husband and wife. (Take roses) The rose has always been considered a symbol of love and a single rose always means only one thing, I love you. I would like you to pick a location in your home for the roses and the roses to come. On each anniversary of this day, both of you should take a rose to that spot, as a recommitment of your marriage, your commitment and your love. Each year as you lay a rose, remember this marriage ceremony, and the love that brought you here today. Remember, it is only love that can make this a glorious union, and it is by love which your marriage shall endure throughout the years. In the days, weeks and years of your lives together, there will be difficult times. It might be hard sometimes to find the words to say "I am sorry" or "I forgive you"; "I need you" or "I am hurting.” When either of you struggle for these words, leave a rose to your spot and allow it to open the dialogue, for that single rose will say what matters most of all, ‘I love you.” Groom, do you accept Bride’s gift of a rose, to be a symbol of her love today, and a lovely reminder and guide in her tomorrows? Bride, do you accept Groom’s gift of a rose, to be a symbol of his love today, and a lovely reminder and guide in his tomorrows?

Officiant's closing words (choose as many as you like)
Groom, Bride, forever be together in harmony and let the winds of the heavens dance between you. Empower each other and allow your relationship to evolve to its highest purpose. Sing and dance together and be joyful. Care for one another, share your lives with one another and to unite in spirits with every fiber of your being. Bring your union to the foreground of your thoughts always and through all of your moments together, so that in the triumphs and trials that lie ahead, you will you will feel just as you do now, happy to be in love and married to one another. Be at peace and live more and more in the present, which is beautiful and stretches beyond the limits of the past and towards the horizons of the future.
Groom/Bride, now you will feel no rain, for each of you will be the shelter for the other. Now you will feel no cold, for each of you will be warmth to the other. Now there is no more loneliness, for each of you will be companion to the other. Now you are two persons, but there is only one life before you. Go now to enter into the days of your life together. And may your days be good and long upon the earth.
Let us end with a prayer, Dear God, Please bless this couple. Grant them a peaceful home. May it be a refuge for their love, a harbor for their deepest prayer. May they come to flourish within safe walls, growing ever nearer to You. May they be blessed with laughter and grace, and surprised by the comfort of kinship. And when darkness falls, find them wrapped in each other, ever warm. May they live each day in light of time, realizing that their love is a gift from You. For to love for the sake of being loved is human; but to love for the sake of loving? This is divine. Amen.
Blessing of the Marriage- If we may all bow our heads for a blessing for this marriage. May that glory which rests on all who love, rest upon Vincent and Lucero. May love bless them and keep them, and fill them with happiness and a gracious spirit. Despite all changes of time and fortune, may all that is noble and lovely and true abound in their hearts and abide with you, and give them strength in all their days together. Amen.
