    Pray then like this:

    Your kingdom come

    Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

    Give us this day our daily bread,"

  • Compare the forth request to the previous three. What important difference do you notice? (Hint: look at the possessive adjectives)

  • In this meditation we have seen that Jesus calls us to pray daily for our needs. It shows us that we are dependent creatures who have to rely upon God's provision.


    In the next meditation, we will look at the fifth petition of the Lord's Prayer.
