Thank you for wanting to join Vegan Shop-Up! Please read through these important market details!
Please submit your application by Friday, May 24th. Only vendors who complete an application will be reviewed for participation. This allows Vegan Shop-Up to be diverse, fair, evolve, and utilize our venue space the best we can. Please keep in mind vendor space is very limited now that we're indoors only the colder months!
We strongly recommend you visit a Vegan Shop-Up before applying to participate, so you can gauge the layout, crowd, and structure. Since we receive many more applicants than we can admit, a completed application does not guarantee market approval. If you have previously submitted an application and not been accepted, please continue to apply, as we continuously rotate in new vendors.
Due to the volume of interest, only accepted applicants will be notified by Monday, May 27th.Those not approved by the notification date will be placed on a waiting list and contacted if vendor spaces become available.
Once your application has been approved, you will receive a confirmation email and invoice. All invoices are non-transerable and non-refundable.
CANCELLATION POLICY: To ensure we are able to fill spaces upon last minute cancellations, we ask all confirmed vendors to notify us of a cancellation before 5 days prior to the market date. There is an additional $25 fee for any cancellations within the 5 days prior to the market. This fee must be settled before applying for another Vegan Shop-Up, and will be credited towards a future event.
WHAT WE MEAN BY VEGAN: Your brand does not have to be 100% vegan but all products present at the market must be. This means, no honey, beeswax, carmine, tallow, lanolin, silk, elastin, and ALL other animal derived or produced ingredients. NO exceptions.
We are NYC's first all vegan pop-up market featuring the best, most innovative and talented local businesses. The last 8 years of Shop-Ups have been nothing but bigger and better with more vendors and devoted crowds! Check out previous events here on the website. We have attendees who come from near and far, and who eagerly look forward to seeing what's next. We've been scoring some amazing press from TimeOut NY, NY Times, Serious Eats, Clean Plates, VegNews, Brokelyn, Daily Candy, Grub Street, Brooklyn Based, Village Voice, Gothamist, Metro NY, New York Magazine, and more!
