We invite family and friends who would like a veteran to be honored on a street light banner in Mt. Victory from Memorial Day thru Aug 15th to please submit their information below.
There is no cost for the banners to the applicant. MVCIC is coordinating and sponsoring the project in partnership with area businesses. Donations to MVCIC for the vet banner project are gladly accepted but not required.
If you need assistance scanning your veteran's photo, please attend the upcoming Open House at the Ridgemont Library in Mt. Victory, Saturday April 21, 10am-1pm and Monday April 23, 10am-6pm. The library tech will be on hand to scan your photo for the veteran banner project and add she will add it to the Mt Victory History Archival Room database. The tech is also available at the library on Mondays to scan your photo - please call ahead 937-354-4445.
Only requirement for banners is the veteran to live or have lived in Mt. Victory or the Ridgemont area at some point in their life. Banners are first come, first serve so please submit the information and photo today. If you do not have your photo available at this time, you may submit your application and arrange to get us the photo by the deadline.
