Day Camp 2022: That's the Spirit!

Please read the important Day Camp 2022 information on the FCBC website before filling out this application. Remember that this application is for RETURNING STAFF (C.I.T.s, Junior Counselors and Volunteers from previous years of Day Camp) only. When you are finished press "Submit" at the bottom of this form. Please do not submit more than once.
Please be aware that March 13th is the final deadline to submit this application and the recommendation. Interviews will be held on March 20th. Staff Expectations
A Counselor-In-Training (C.I.T.) will be expected to:
- Work in cooperation with both the staff directing him/herself and the staff he/she is directing to provide joint activities for 20-25 children.
- Support the senior and junior counselors within their group.
- Observe and learn the many different aspects of Day Camp.
- Help organize and work with others on different indoor and outdoor activities as needed, including small groups.
- Be helpful and encouraging to the group
- Attend all staff meetings, training times, and to participate in the daily devotions.
A Junior counselor will be expected to:
- Work in cooperation with both the staff directing him/herself and the staff he/she is directing to provide joint activities for 20-25 children.
- Supervise a group of six to eight children at a time.
- Lead a Bible-based curriculum.
- Plan activities which will enhance the spiritual, mental and physical growth of children in appropriate ways. Organize crafts, music, drama, and/or other activities.
- Be helpful and encouraging to members of the group
- Attend all staff meetings, training times, and to participate in the daily devotions.
A Volunteer will be expected to help with:
- Lunch/Snack set up, distribution, and clean up
- Birthday Costumes and Tech
- Attendance
- Field trip runners
- Counselor substitution and watch over late pick up kids
Please be aware that because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we will be requiring that all counselors are vaccinated and have gotten their boosters.
