Students are housed in rustic, wooden cabins with 12-16 other students and 1 or 2 counselors. There is electricity, hot water, and in-cabin sinks, bathrooms and showers. We work hard to include a mix of students in various arts areas but of similar age, typically within one year of one another.
Interlochen Arts Camp reflects an unwavering commitment to diversity in its broadest sense and history has shown that our students deeply embrace this commitment both within their artistic program and within the camp life experience. In that spirit, we offer housing options for inclusion of gender fluid, non-binary, and transgender students. Students should choose housing based on their comfort level.
