  • Students are housed in rustic, wooden cabins with 12-16 other students and 1 or 2 counselors. There is electricity, hot water, and in-cabin sinks, bathrooms and showers. We work hard to include a mix of students in various arts areas but of similar age, typically within one year of one another.

Interlochen Arts Camp reflects an unwavering commitment to diversity in its broadest sense and history has shown that our students deeply embrace this commitment both within their artistic program and within the camp life experience. In that spirit, we offer housing options for inclusion of gender fluid, non-binary, and transgender students. Students should choose housing based on their comfort level.

  • Spending Limits

Campers have the ability to occassionally visit the Scholarshop and Melody Freeze to purchase small treats, charged to their student account. Sometimes larger purchases are requested, which may require family approval. Please answer below if you would like to be contacted if your student requests to charge over $50.

  • OPT OUT - Student Directory

Many students often want to connect with other students after the camp season. Interlochen Arts Camp will publish a Student Directory strictly for the purpose of student to student contact. This directory will be provided to Camp families and includes the student's name, session, cabin and parent/family email address.
