BACKGROUND CHECK ACKNOWLEDGMENT. In our continued effort to ensure the health and safety of the dogs, our volunteers, and our facility, we conduct background checks on all volunteers prior to starting at Adopt-A-Pet. There is no charge to you for this process. Once the Volunteer Coordinator has met with you either by phone or in person and conducted the preliminary interview and you want to move forward in the process then we will submit your data to be reviewed. When the results are received we will follow up with you and let you know your status as a volunteer with Adopt-A-Pet. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
