"Pin" Awards

If awarded, you will receive a recognition pin at the chapter award banquet in May. Recognition pins are worn on your FFA Jacket.
Record Keeping Award - Your AET records need to be up-to-date, complete and detailed. Plans of Practice completed. Beginning inventories (livestock & crops) and beginning financial values completed. Personal information up-to-date. Resume up-to-date.Ag Scholarship Award - Your grades for your Ag Class(es) will be reviewed for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grading periods (A or A- in all 3 grading periods).Ag Mechanics Award - You must be in an Ag Class with 'shop' activities to be considered for this award. Your safety and work ethic in the shop will be considered. The quality of your work will be considered.Ag Leadership Award - Your involvement in FFA activities will be taken into consideration.Community Service Award - Your community service activities and hours will be taken into consideration for this award. 30 AET documented and verifiable hours will be the minimum required for recognition. Counted from April 1st of the previous year.

"Top Member" Awards

Chose the "Top Member" Award that you're applying for. If chosen, you will receive an award plaque at the chapter award banquet in May.
Star Greenhand - Given to the top Freshman member(s) each year and is based on activities since joining FFA.Outstanding Sophomore - Given to the top Sophomore each year and is based on activities since April 1st of the previous year.Outstanding Junior - Given to the top Junior each year and is based on activities since April 1st of the previous year.Outstanding Senior - Given to the top Senior each year and is based on activities since April 1st of the previous year.*DeKalb Leadership Award - Given to the top Senior each year and based on ALL years of FFA involvement. FFA activities, academics and SAE projects will be taken into consideration. You must submit a detailed resume covering your high school career to be considered for this award.Star Chapter Award - Given to the top senior(s) each year who have been heavily involved in FFA activities over their years as an FFA member but who did NOT earn the State FFA Degree. You must submit a detailed resume covering your high school career to be considered for this award.

Leadership Camp Award

This section is used for those applying for the Leadership Camp Award that will send you to the Ohio Leadership Camp. You must be able to attend the camp. The dates are on the chapter calendar (June). There are no alternative dates or replacement activities so check your schedule first.
If you would like to apply for the Leadership Conference Award, which will pay for you to attend the 212º Leadership Conference during the upcoming school year, you need to answer the following question in detail to the best of your ability. This award is only open to Freshmen and Sophomores. One to three awards are presented annually. Preference will be given to FFA members who haven't attended the 212º Leadership Conference in the past.
Why do you want to attend the 212º Leadership Conference during the next school year and how do you feel the chapter will benefit by your attendance?
If you would like to apply for the Leadership Camp Award, which will pay for you to attend the Ohio Leadership Camp (OLC) during the camp session this June, you need to answer the following question in detail to the best of your ability. This award is only open to Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors. Preference will be given to FFA members who haven't attended OLC in the past.
