  • Sibling Information

If you have siblings participating in JTL, please check the box below and list their names in the spaces provided.

  • Parent Information

Because of player demographics over subscribed areas and varying team make-up requirements, the JTL Board of Directors cannot guarantee that players may return to their previous year's team and/or placement on a team's closest proximity.  JTL wishes to assure each parent and player that their requests on their application are important.  But team balance by number, gender, and ability are governed by the above constraints.  Team assignments will be made on a first come, first served basis.  JTL BOARD WILL MAKE ALL TEAM ASSIGNMENTS.

  • Coaching Information

A head coach of a team receives one free registration with JTL for one of their children (via reimbursement at the end of the season).  A coach workshop will be held on Thursday, May 22 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the USTA SC office, 18 Woodcross Drive, Columbia, SC 29212.  Contact the JTL Office to learn more, jtloffice@windstream.net or (803) 951-1888.

  • TennisLink Registration & Team Placement Information

If you would like a scholarship based on volunteering as a head coach, please proceed with the directions below.  Your scholarship for one child will be provided in the form of a reimbursement check from JTL at the end of the season.

Please click the SUBMIT button below to proceed to checkout on TennisLink.  You will need your child's USTA Membership number, a team number, and a credit card in order to register.  If you do not have a USTA Membership or are not sure of your number, you can purchase one by phone at 1-800-990-8782 or online at www.usta.com/membership.  Please select and write down a team number below based on the following criteria:

    1. Player's age as of August 31st of this year (Players may move up one age division, but may not play down.)

    2. Skill level (Beginner – Intermediate – Advanced)

Beginner is defined as a player new to tennis and/or may not understand all aspects of match play. (NTRP 2.5 or below)

Intermediate is defined as a player that has a good understanding of match play, is fairly consistent when hitting medium-paced shots, but is not comfortable with all strokes and lacks execution when trying for direction control, depth or power.  (NTRP 3.0 or below)

Advanced is defined as a player that has developed improved stroke dependability with directional control and strategy during match play. If a player is listed on the TOP 300 of the USTA Southern Standings List as of July 31st (go here to see if your child’s name is on this list), he or she must play in the Advanced level. (NTRP 3.5 or above)
