Deadline to apply: Friday, May 10, 2024
There are two Imprint reporter positions available:
- Happenings Reporter
- Up Close Reporter
You may apply for one or both positions. (One person will not be appointed to both positions. If you apply for both and are selected, you will be appointed to one or the other, at the discretion of the NSNA President and Board of Directors.)
Happenings Column
The Happenings reporter gathers information and photos from NSNA constituent state associations and school chapters. Usually, about 4-6 states are covered per issue (approximately 200-400 words per state), with a few photos included. We are interested in coverage of events that took place recently, or are to take place in the near future, such as: conventions, fundraisers, clothing or healthcare drives, community health projects, educational trips, internships, etc.
Up Close Column
The Up Close reporter conducts interviews (by phone or email) with outstanding nursing students throughout the country and writes profiles (about 650-800 words) describing their background, activities and what makes them unique. One student is highlighted per issue, and must be an NSNA member.
For past examples, read through past issues of Imprint in the Imprint Archives.
