    ABPLM Medical Director Certification for current medical directors serving the Good Samaritan Society
  • Successful grant recipients will be medical directors who are committed to professional excellence demonstrated by their pursuit of medical director certification in long-term care through the American Medical Directors Certification Program (AMDCP). The grant is intended to cover the costs of the certification process, not to exceed $4,000 per recipient.

    Recipients will be asked to commit to a minimum of two years of service as a medical director for the Good Samaritan Society in exchange for financial support toward the certification program.

  • Intent of this grant is to:

  • 1. Improve the skill, knowledge base and job satisfaction of our medical directors.

    2. Increase the number of certified medical directors serving our centers.

  • Eligibility requirements

  • 1. MD or DO graduate

    2. Successful completion of American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) Certification in Primary Specialty

    3. Minimum of one year experience as a medical director for the Good Samaritan Society

    4. Minimum of two years clinical experience working in long-term care

    2. Ask your administrator to write a letter of support for your application. This letter should be emailed to Edie Rodgers, administrative assistant, at erodger1@good-sam.com.
