There are lots of ways share your knowledge & expertise to support our amazing Arts community by volunteering with Comox Valley Arts!

The form below is our basic Volunteer Profile - to help us know what you're interested in and how you'd like to join in.

PLEASE NOTE: We communicate best by EMAIL, so to volunteer with us it is very, very important that you are email-friendly! :) As we do not maintain full time office hours (nor full time staff, for that matter) this is the most efficient method we have to stay in touch and disseminate information.

Our volunteer opportunities happen throughout the year. There are some that are a bit regular, and others that are just once a year. Let us know what suits you best!
What interests you? *

Poet Laureate Support - help our Poet Laureate with calendar management, promoting & documenting appearances Summer Street Markets Support Team - helping with setup and tear down, postering, decor Promotional Support / Street Team - "personing" our booths at events, distribution of posters & flyers for events Fundraising Committee - dreaming up and executing the fun ways we can raise funds within our community, to support the operations of Comox Valley Arts. Event Support - help out with organizing & running various events, opportunities to manage small teams or projects Arts News Reporting - Writing/Blog/Website - creating relevant content to help promote and advocate for arts & culture in the valley Studio Tour/Arts Guide - helping organize all the moving parts! External Exhibits - assisting with jurying, hanging, organizing, removing member & guest exhibits around the Valley Party Crew - organizes regular mixers for members/clients and the public Media Team - Helping us document, archive and visually promote events and activities. This includes opportunities to manage Livestream & Podcast events, Video capture and editing, Photography, Audio recording and more. Administration - helping with information management and distribution, keeping things up-to-date, compiling packages for grants & sponsorships, inventories, schedules & project related tasks Data Collection & Entry - internet & telephone research and updating, requires good internet & computer skills.
