What is the Opportunity Program?
Opportunity supports academically talented students with limited economic resources to apply to universities in the U.S. Opportunity pays for the costs associated with applying: Standardized testing (TOEFL, SAT), translation, application fees, transportation costs and visa fees.
Opportunity is NOT a scholarship to attend college. Rather, Opportunity Scholars will work closely with EducationUSA advisers throughout the year to apply to universities where they have the best chances of receiving a full scholarship.
Being selected as an Opportunity Scholar does NOT guarantee admission to universities or a full scholarship.
Read and follow the instructions carefully prior to submitting your application.
Only high school students who will graduate in December 2014 or December 2015 are eligible to apply. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. All applicants will be contacted within two weeks of application.
Opportunity is administered by EducationUSA in Argentina, a program of the U.S. Department of State. For more information, please contact buenosaires@educationusa.info.
