    > Identify and outline a development activity relevant to the College learning goal and/or one strategic objective from the SOC Strategic Plan 2011-2015.

    > The activity should reflect at least one component from the SOC Best Practice Teacher spreadsheet.

    > An action research approach is encouraged.

    > The document forms part of your professional learning portfolio, which may be required by the Teacher Registration Board to support your registration, and is part of LearningEDGE.

    > Please note that the outline of your learning project and subsequent outcomes will be pubished in a common learning space on the dashboard to inform others.

    > This form will be automatically emailed to you, your HoD/Coordinator and the HoT&L/DHoJS.

  • Learning Project Plan

     Project Parameters

    > Where appropriate, select and establish a Learning Project Team (e.g. Departmental, Year Level, Senior, Middle or Junior School).

    > Develop an outline of the project, reflecting on SOC Best Practice Teacher, the College learning goal and/or one strategic objective from the SOC Strategic Plan 2011-2015.

    > Briefly outline your learning project proposal.  Include it’s relationship to SOC Best Practice Teacher, the College Learning Goal and/or one strategic objective from the SOC Strategic Plan 2011-2015 (to be published).

  • Learning Project Evaluation (to be completed by the end of November)


    Evaluation Parameters

    > Complete the evaluation form individually or in collaboration with your Learning Project Team.

    > The evaluation should be completed by end of November and will be submitted to Head of Junior School/Head of Teaching and Learning Years 6-12.

    > Present your evaluation to your Focus Group in Term 4.
