Qatar Foundation International, LLC, 1225 New York Ave NW, Suite 500, Washington, DC 20005, USA ("QFI") periodically photographs and videotapes individuals who participate in activities sponsored by QFI, or relating to events, programs, and/or organizations associated with QFI. Qatar Foundation, Building no. 19, Zone 52 Street 2700, Doha, Qatar ("QF") provides funding to QFI so that QFI can carry out its mission. QFI and QF will use these photographs and video recordings or have them used by third parties (e.g. cooperation partners, QFI’s beneficiaries, program or event participants, members of press for promotional or educational purposes as well as for publications, documentation and reporting) to reflect the programs and mission of QFI and/or QF as follows:

• Publications on the website of QFI and of QF
• Publication via the social media channels of QFI (currently: X (Formerly Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn); Print publications (flyers, brochures, collateral, info folders, white papers, presentations, etc.) of QFI and/or QF;
• Email newsletters of QFI and/or QF;
• Use for the purpose of editorial coverage of the projects, programs, and mission of QFI and/or QF by the press publications; and
• Archiving by QFI and/or QF for internal documentation.

Nothing in this declaration shall oblige QFI and/or QF to use the Images for the forgoing purposes.

I waive any right to inspect or approve any finished product(s) that may be created with the media. QFI/QF always retains the copyright of images and products. I understand that there will be no financial or other remuneration for recording me.

I shall indemnify QFI and/or QF against all justified claims asserted by third parties against QFI and/or QF in connection with the use of my Images (or the Images of my child) and shall compensate QFI and/or QF for any damages they necessarily suffer from such claims, including statutory legal fees for procedural and prelitigation defense, unless I am not responsible for such claims.

• QFI may take Images of me (or my child) and use the Images or have them used by QF and/or third parties for the purposes outlined above.

• I agree that when making and using the Images special categories of personal data in the meaning of Art. 9 GDPR (e.g. data on origin, religion, or health) will be processed if such data is included or can be derived from the Images.

My consent is voluntary. I am aware that I can revoke the consent given – also in part – at any time by written notice to QFI with effect for the future. If I do not revoke my consent, the consent is valid without a time limit.

In case of a revocation of the consent given before the start of activities sponsored by QFI, participation in the activities may be impacted, if accommodations cannot be made.
