Because our neighbors throughout South Carolina have supported us in our success, we passionately give back to our community and we take every opportunity to support families and causes here in our own back yard.
Donation Request Policy
Jim Hudson Buick GMC Cadillac is pleased to have the opportunity to become part of your upcoming event/program. We appreciate your continued interest and support of our company. We recognize the importance of all charities and support many nonprofit agencies and community programs throughout the area. The following information will explain our procedures and guidelines regarding donations and sponsorships. These procedures and guidelines are designed to assist you with your requests, specifically as it relates to Jim Hudson Buick GMC Cadillac's potential involvement with your 501(c)(3) organizations. We attempt to accommodate as many charitable requests as possible.
Donation Request Requirements
The following requirements must be met when requesting a donation from Jim Hudson Buick GMC Cadillac:
- The organization must be within the general market area of our dealerships and community we serve.
- All donation requests must be submitted online. Written, fax and email requests are no longer accepted by Jim Hudson Automotive Group.
- The online donation form must be filled our completely in order for your request to be considered.
- Your request for a donation must be received by Jim Hudson Lexus at least 6 weeks prior to the day your organization needs the donation.
- Your non-profit organization must have 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status.
- You must enter your organization's valid Tax Exempt ID number on the online form in order for your request to be considered (if you are a business sponsoring a charitable event, please ask a member of the charity to complete the donation request form).
Due to the large volume of requests received on a monthly basis, there are no exceptions to the about guidelines.
Please keep in mind that submitting an online request does not guarantee your organization will receive a donation.
All requests will be reviewed and responded to if they meet the minimum requirements. Any request that does not meet the requirements will not be eligible for consideration at this time, however re-applying in the future under proper requirements is encouraged.
Restrictions
In order to comply with our core values, we do not utilize our Corporate Giving Program for the following purposes:
- Individual or private pursuits
- Political parties, associations & representatives of advocacy groups
- Organizations that discriminate by race, creed, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion or national origin, disability or veteran status
- Religious organizations, churches and programs that is purely denominational in purpose
- Research Projects
- Advertising and promotion
- Team sponsorships
- Individual Teams
- Private or family foundations
We are happy to be in a position to support our community and wish we could fulfill every request, however we know this is not realistic and we appreciate your efforts, patience and understanding of our process. We want to applaud and thank you for your personal effort to be involved in our community and working hard on worthwhile causes.
