    • What kind of Management training programs does Hyatt offer in Europe, Africa and the Middle East? 
    • Our Program is called Corporate Leadership Program. We offer this mainly in the disciplines of Rooms Management, Food & Beverage Management and randomly in Sales, Finance and Human Resources Management. The program is tailor made and lasts anything between 18 – 24 months, depending on your past experience. The program always consists of three phases: the Basic skills Module, followed by the Leadership Skills Module and the Cross Exposure Module. In each phase you will have a curriculum that guides your learning process. You will benefit from having a Program Manager that monitors your development as well as a Mentor. The Mentor would be someone from the Senior Management Team of the hotel and you have the opportunity to choose after six months who this could be.  Throughout the program you will be part of the departmental team and work in all areas of the operation. Your learning will be supplemented by attending training and other formal learning resources. The aim of the program is for you to successfully graduate into a entry level management position in your specialized function.

    • What kind of Management training programs does Hyatt offer in Asia Pacific? 
    • Our Program is called the Corporate Leadership Program. We offer this mainly in the disciplines of Rooms Management and Food & Beverage Management but it can also be offered in other areas such as Sales & Marketing, Culinary, Engineering, Finance and Human Resource Management. The program is tailor made and lasts anything between 12-24 months, depending on your past experience.

      The program will include exposure to a number of  areas within the hotel and involve an intensive focus in your designated discipline. You will have a curriculum that guides your learning process and will provide skills, leadership and project learning opportunities. You will benefit from having a Program Manager that monitors your development as well as a Mentor. The Mentor will be someone from the Senior Management Team of the hotel and you have the opportunity to choose after six months who this could be.  Throughout the program you will be part of a departmental team and experience working in a number of different roles within your discipline. Your learning will be supplemented by experiential, online and classroom training, including the HYpath Leadership Series.  

      Kindly note that it is extremely difficult for foreign nationals to obtain a Chinese working visa unless you have at least two years of solid work experience. 

    • What kind of Management training programs does Hyatt offer in the United States? 
    • In the United States, we offer opportunities in Food and Beverage and Rooms at various locations.  

    • If I apply for a Management Training program, can I choose the location? 
    • We try to accommodate your preferences, however we believe that the training opportunities in our participating hotels are excellent, regardless where they are. We also need to consider actual vacancies, any required language skills and the ability to secure a work permit in the desired location. When you have decided to join us and your interview was successful we will place you in most suitable location.

    • How can I pursue a successful career without doing a Management training program?
