Children (Humans Under 18 years old) Policy:
Children are welcome in Teacher's Pet Training Academy group classes. Children must be under parental supervision and control at all times. Parents should stop them from doing anything disruptive to the other students or other dogs. Children need to stay in the classroom where their family and dog are working. Children should not run, scream, squeal or chase each other or the dogs, and should be instructed to never approach or pet any other dog in class, without express permission from you, their parent, as well as express permission from the dog's owner. If everyone agrees, then let the dog approach the child for a friendly hello. Remember that simply being active and around dogs involves some risk of tripping and falling, running into things, of being knocked down, or jumped on or accidentally scratched, nipped or even bitten, or any number of others ways of getting hurt. By coming to class, and bringing your dog and/or your child, you are acknowledging that risk, and accepting responsibility for anything that happens to yourself, your guests, your dog, or your children. Please take this into consideration, and be sure you are comfortable that it is an acceptable level of risk to you, before you bring yourself, your dog, any guests, or your children to class.
