An essental part of our values and practice is looking within ourselves, especially to past painful experiences but also to our present needs and values, for the source of our upsets or reactivity. We see this as an essential part of reconnecting with our personal power and tending effectively to our own well-being. This is distinct from seeing others' actions as the primary cause of our most intense pain. What comes up for you, when you hear this?*

What circumstances in your life are prompting you to explore Presence Practice?*

What kinds of behavior or situations "step on your broken toes," stimulating an upset (fight, flight, appease, or freeze) reaction in you? (For example: how people drive, when people express upset about something you've done, when something you're using breaks, etc.)*

What kind of mindfulness or other presence practice(s) do you engage in as part of your everyday life? How often do you engage in this/these practices?*
