Indicate here if there are any Foreign Nationals (non U.S. persons) who will be participating on the technology or payload team. This is necessary to ensure the appropriate safeguards are put in place for the interchange of technical data covered under the Arms Export COntrol Act, Export Administration Act, or other applicable regulations or laws.
The following sections are designed to help facilitate discussion between the Integrated Spaceflight responsible engineer and the organization preparing the technology development / demonstration payload described herein. The information contained in this document will be used to: help determine the technical suitability of the mission and payload, help guide development of a technically appropriate mission plan and payload, and facilitate the selection of an appropriate flight vehicle or class of flight vehicles that can be used the achieve the described mission. This version of the PRD document is specific to aircraft parabolic flight campaigns on the S3 wide-body Airbus.
Please be as specific as possible with the dates below. Resolution at least to the quarter year is desired. For required completion date, please provide rationale (i.e. Technology is slated for orbital launch, development program funding horizon, etc.).
Describe the objectives and success criteria for each requested flight of this technology payload. These criteria are the basis for planning each flight test, and should be written so that there is a clear and measurable outcome for each test objective. Please reference any other versions of the proposed experiment, but remain specific to the flights requested for this payload version.
Describe the test environment for the payload. To avoid over-specifying the conditions please leave blank any section that is not required.
If the payload consists of multiple standalone modules please break down the size and mass by module. Indicate actual or estimated measures.
List and briefly describe all planned interfaces between the payload and the aircraft, including, but not limited to physical attachments, electrical connections, and external venting.
Overview of payload sensitivities to influences from the environment or other payloads (EMI, RF, vibration, etc.)
Does the Payload Contain any of the Following? Please indicate here and provide details for any "yes" answer below.
Ground support equipment needed, payload storage and physical security, etc.
