I understand that Heartland Veterinary Clinic is not staffed twenty-four (24) hours a day and after hour treatment of patients is at the discretion of the veterinarian. Business and medical staffing hours are:

Monday - Wednesday and Friday 7:30am - 5pm

Thursday 7:30am - 7pm

SATURDAY CLOSED

SUNDAY/HOLIDAYS CLOSED

We have NO in-house, on duty, continuous medical staff care at these times: 

1. Overnight from 5pm - 7:30am, Monday-Wednesday and Friday, Thursday 7pm - 7:30am

2. Weekends from Friday 5pm to Monday 7:30am

3. Holidays, from before the holiday at 5pm to the day after the holiday at 7:30am

4. Holidays falling on Monday, from Saturday at 12pm to Tuesday at 7:30am

Emergencies are handled by the Shenandoah Valley Regional Veterinary Emergency Clinic in Verona. The telephone number is 540-248-1051. Their hours are from 6pm to 8am Monday - Thursday and 6pm Friday - 8am Monday. Please call ahead if your pet needs follow-up care.
