• MUSICAL BEGINNINGS / Tuscaloosa / Piano Performers Spring Registration

  • SCHEDULE

    Your tuition covers 16 weekly lessons and the opportunity to perform in the Spring Recital. Lessons are taught during the academic school year. The piano semester will begin when the Tuscaloosa City School System starts. A schedule listing the actual days of instruction will be sent home in the student's music folder at the first lesson.

    Lesson day for each school location will be the same as last year. If you are new to the program, please request the day for lessons at your school by contacting the director.

    PAYMENT

    Registration is not complete until payment is received. Tuition may be paid in full or in five installments. A one-time registration fee of $30 ($33 if paying by credit card) must accompany the registration.

    PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS

    If paying by credit card, select your preferred plan at the bottom of this form before clicking submit. The form will take you to Paypal to complete your payment process. If choosing Full Tuition Option, full tuition + registration fee will be paid with registration.

    If choosing the Full Payment by check option, the full payment is due upon registration. Make your check payable to Musical Beginnings. Musical Beginnings will hold your assigned lesson time for two week days to allow time to receive the check payment via U. S. Mail.

    If choosing the Check Installment option, date the registration fee check for the day of registration and date 5 checks on the 1st of the month from January to May. A total of 6 checks must be mailed at registration. Make your checks payable to Musical Beginnings. Musical Beginnings will hold your assigned lesson time for two week days to allow the checks to arrive via U. S. mail.

    Checks will be cashed on the first of each month. The charge for returned checks is $30.

  • NOTE:

    Request for lesson time will be approved in the order received; lesson time requests are "first come, first served." The first lesson is at school dismissal.  (Depending on the school, dimissal time may be 2:30, 2:35, 2:45 or 3:00.) When that time is full, the next lesson will begin 30 minutes later.

    At the conclusion of each weekly lesson, students coming directly from homeroom must be picked up from their lesson by parents at the classroom or go directly to Extended Day at the same school. Students coming from home must be dropped off and picked up from their lesson at the classroom by a parent; students coming from Extended Day will return to Extended Day or be picked up by parents after the lesson.

  • AGREEMENT

    By submitting this registration form, I understand and agree that Musical Beginnings reserves the right to discontinue a student at anytime, with a refund of the remainder of the tuition.

    By submitting this registration form, I understand and agree that Musical Beginnings reserves the right to cancel a class that does not meet the minimun number of students. In the event of cancellation, students will be offered alternative lesson times or locations. If these alternatives do not meet the student's needs, a full refund will be given for the scheduled lessons that are not taken.

    By submitting this registration form, I understand and agree that my child's enrollment in Musical Beginnings with the tuition commitment is for the duration of the school year in which (s)he is enrolled. The installment plan is for my convenience, and regardless of any decision to withdraw or discontinue with Musical Beginnings, I agree that I will be responsible for the cost of the full tuition after the second lesson. I understand if my child moves to a different town at least 20 miles from downtown Tuscaloosa, I will be refunded all my child's unused tuition after I notify and show proof to Musical Beginnings in writing.

    I understand that, if I choose the installment plan, the total tuition is divided into 5 equal installments. Each installment represents tuition payment for 1/5th of the total lessons for the school year, not for the lessons of any particular month. There are not an equal number of lessons in each month.

    If paying by check, I understand that I must include the one-time registration fee of $30 and 5 tuition checks dated the 1st of each month, January - May, total of 6 checks. Checks will be cashed on the first of each month. Service charge for returned checks is $30.
