    There is no employment application fee. However, there is a $25 non-refundable processing fee is required for all BYA employment candidates, regardless of position applying for.  This fee covers the candidates' application for a criminal & sex offender background check once the candidates have been through a successful screening process. Due to the demographics of participants, candidates having been convicted of a sex-based crime may not be eligible for employment. With this exception, conviction of a misdemeanor may not necessarily disqualify a candidate for employment eligibility.
