Standard check-in is after 3 PM, Monday–Friday.
Weekend arrivals are welcome through self check-in; instructions will be emailed.

The Writers’ Colony at Dairy Hollow is committed to providing uninterrupted, focused writing time for all residents. To preserve this environment, we maintain a code of conduct that includes quiet hours in designated areas and courteous behavior toward fellow writers.

FINANCIAL INFORMATION

The Writers’ Colony at Dairy Hollow is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization supported by charitable donations from individuals, foundations, and residents. The actual cost to host one resident is approximately $125 per night. Thanks to generous contributions, we are able to offer a supported rate of $95 per night, plus a one-time $30 cleaning fee.

This rate includes a European-style gourmet dinner served five nights a week, as well as access to a community kitchen stocked with basics for breakfast, lunch, and weekend meals.

Writers who are able to contribute more than $95 per night help make it possible for others to receive supported residency time through our scholarship fund. If you would like to support another writer through our scholarship fund, you may make a tax-deductible contribution here.
