    We’re delighted that you’re interested in joining our creative community. Please complete the form below to help us learn more about you, your work, and your preferred residency dates. Once accepted, you become a WCDH alumna/alumnus for life and are warmly welcome to apply for future residencies.

  • Residencies are a minimum of three nights and a maximum of three months.

    Deposits

    All reservations require a 50% deposit, which is fully refundable up to 29 days before residency. Cancellations within 30 days of residency are non-refundable.
    No Reservation can be made without a deposit.


    Standard check-in is after 3:00 PM. Check-out time is 11:00 AM.


    Weekend arrivals are welcome through self check-in; instructions will be emailed.

    For more urgent matters, please use our after-hours # (479) 244-8758 before 10:00am CT and after 4:00pm CT Monday through Friday, or on Saturday and Sundays. Please keep in mind we are on Central Time.

    Cancellation Policy

    Cancellations made within 30 days of check-in will forfeit the deposit.

    Cancellations or no-shows within 7 days of check-in are responsible for the full balance.

  • The Writers’ Colony at Dairy Hollow is committed to providing uninterrupted, focused writing time for all residents. To preserve this environment, we maintain a code of conduct that includes quiet hours in designated areas and courteous behavior toward fellow writers.

  • FINANCIAL INFORMATION

    The Writers’ Colony at Dairy Hollow is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization supported by charitable donations from individuals, grants, programming efforts, foundations, and residents like you. Thanks to generous contributions, we are able to offer subsidized rates for all of our suites.

    This rate includes a European-style gourmet dinner served six nights a week [Monday through Saturday], as well as access to a community kitchen stocked with basics for breakfast, lunch, and Sunday meals.

  • Application Fee
