This letter is written as a reminder to all vendors doing business with Tampa Sports Authority and to serve as a useful guide to the Purchasing Policy and Procedure requirements.
 
A Purchase Order number must be obtained from us to have a valid order.  Services or goods furnished to our employees without a Purchase Order are not company authorized purchases.  Tampa Sports Authority will not be responsible for items ordered and delivered without a valid Purchase Order or insertion number.
 
All invoices furnished to us must be sent to the attention of the Accounting Department with a Purchase Order number on all invoices and/or statements.  You can email invoices and statements to invoices@tampasportsauthority.com(A/P) or DJones@tampasportsauthority.com.
 
It is recommended that initial contact with the department be made with the Procurement Manager.  This will ensure proper processing and save valuable time and effort.  We appreciate your assistance in helping us implement the above procedure.
                                                                                   
Tampa Sports Authority is exempt from paying taxes imposed by the State of Florida.  A copy of the certificate will be forwarded upon request.

Please visit our website at http://www.tampasportsauthority.com/procurement-servicesto complete the vendor registration process. It’s imperative that you select all commodities/services that your company may be able to provide to the Authority from the commodity/service code list.  This information is how we locate your company to submit pricing for Bids/RFQS, etc.  After completion, submit your application online.  After review, you will receive notification in the mail or via email of your vendor acceptance and assigned vendor number.
 
If your company is registered with any agency as an D/MBE/SBE/S-DV type business, please email your certificate to djones@tampasportsauthority.comor fax it to (813) 350-6611 to be added to your vendor file.
 
Please check our website weekly for “new” bids/proposals that have been released.  (Note: You are not requiredto be an approved vendor in order to participate in RFQs/Bid processes.  You are welcome to attend any Mandatory or Open Pre-Bid Conferences that interest you and your company).  You can always register online after attendance or RFQ/Bid submittal.
 
A person, affiliate or company who has been placed on the Convicted Vendor List following a conviction for a Public Entity Crime may not submit a Bid/RFQ on any contract to provide goods or services to the Authority or any government agency for the construction or repair of a public building or public work. Company, also may not submit bids on leases of real property to a public entity, may not be awarded or perform work as a contractor, supplier, subcontractor, or consultant under a contract with any public entity, and may not transact business with any public entity in excess of the threshold amount provided in s. 287.017 for CATEGORY TWO for a period of 36 months from the date of being placed on the Convicted Vendor List.
