Group Visit Registration Form

Thank you for considering Duke Farms, a Center of the Doris Duke Foundation, as the destination for your group visit. At Duke Farms, you’ll find 1,000+ acres of land to explore native species, sustainability efforts, and the area’s natural beauty.

Things to keep in mind:

From April through October:
- Our trails and Orchid Range are open Tuesday-Saturday from 08:30 AM to 06:00 PM. Visitors must be off the property at 6:00 PM.
- Our Farm Barn Orientation Center is open Thursday-Saturday from 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM.
Groups sized between 12 and 20 members are most appropriate for Duke Farms.
Approval is required for all groups wishing to visit Duke Farms. This helps us have efficient staff and security for the volume of people visiting.
Duke Farms is meant for self-exploration and currently does not offer guided tours for visiting groups.
Adults are responsible for the minors in their care.
Be prepared by taking precautions for outdoor activities: sunblock, bug spray, water, etc.
Duke Farms is a carry-in, carry-out facility so all garbage created during your visit should be taken with you.

Request: To request a group visit, please complete this form and click “submit”. Group visit requests must be made at least 2 weeks in advance. When submitted, a staff member will be notified and they will contact you to confirm your visit request. If you have any questions or concerns, please call (908) 722 3700 ex.2 Tuesday-Friday 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM.

Please note: Duke Farms does not allow for private functions, including but not limited to: picnics, catered events, weddings, parties, photoshoots, solicitations of products/services, etc…. Any private functions or unauthorized meetings and activities will be stopped immediately by Duke Farms Safety & Security.

Approved request forms DO NOT GUARANTEE admittance to Duke Farms. When parking capacity is full, we intermittently close entry gates. If you are meeting a group, we strongly recommend that you have everyone in your party’s contact info, as well as a backup destination for your group.

The Farm Barn Cafe is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

If you would like to eat at the Farm Barn Cafe on a Thursday or Friday, group organizers must speak to our Chef once the group arrives to preorder their lunch for later that day.

Group preorders must be paid for on one tab.

Tables may not be pushed together in the cafe.

Saturday groups are not able to preorder lunch. You will be subject to standard lines, wait times, and availability.
