Please understand that FSF will only one-time match up to 50% of the training costs up to$2,000 coming from the general fund, meaning if you contribute $2,000 at the time of theFSF application approval, FSF will also pledge up to $2,000 for training. These funds will bereleased after your $2,000 is spent and only when there is a set date for your FSF fund raiserand when FSF has received your required information for your own page atwww.firststepfoundation.com. This page is designed to help facilitate your own fundraisingfor your training, allowing people to see your pictures, read your story, and donate to yourscholarship for training while receiving a tax deduction. Any monies raised from yourfundraiser, your website page, and direct donations dedicated to your training will also beused for your training minus the 15% administrative expenses. So if you raise $10,000through the website and your fundraiser and private donations, $8,500 will go directly toyour training.
