  • KLP CLIENT GUIDE:

    Whew, that was a lot of questions! But, I’m SO excited you’re here. Truly.
    This guide walks you through what to expect before, during, and after your session so everything feels easy, relaxed, and fun — exactly how photos should be.


    ✨ Booking Your Session
    To officially hold your date, a $150 non-refundable retainer is required.
    This retainer goes toward your total session fee, with the remaining balance due at your session.

    Payment options: cash, check, credit card, PayPal, or Venmo
    (Venmo: @Kristin-LaRue-1 — please send as a friend, my last 4 digits of my phone number are 4509)

    📍 Locations, Travel & Group Size
    You’re responsible for any location fees (parking, admission, permits, etc.).
    Travel outside Lamar County, TX is $1 per mile round trip.

    Sessions include up to 5 people. Additional participants are $30 per person.


    🤍 If Life Happens (Rescheduling)
    If anyone isn’t feeling well, please reach out as soon as possible. I’m always happy to reschedule when health is involved.

    Weather, emergencies, or unexpected situations happen — and if I ever need to adjust a session, I’ll communicate quickly. Reschedules are handled case-by-case.


    👗 Style, Vibe & What to Expect
    I shoot a mix of posed + lifestyle — guided, relaxed, and full of connection.
    If anyone is uncomfortable with certain poses or closeness, just let me know ahead of time.

    Need outfit help? I’ve got you.
    Neutral, earthy tones photograph beautifully year-round. Coordinating > matching, always.

    I’ll probably joke with you. I’ll probably give prompts that feel silly.
    Trust me — it always looks better than it feels in the moment 😉


    📲 Communication & Arrival
    Please text me 48 hours before your session to confirm details.
    Arrive 5 minutes early so we can start relaxed and on time. 9032724509

    If you’re running late, just communicate — lighting waits for no one, so sessions may be shortened if needed.

    No-shows do forfeit the retainer, and a new retainer is required to rebook.


    📸 After Your Session
    Proof Gallery Within 5 business days, you’ll receive a proof gallery to select your favorites for editing.

    What’s included:

    Mini Session – 15 images
    Full Session – 35 images
    Newborn (baby only) – 25 images
    Newborn (baby + family) – 40 images
    Specialty/mini sessions – image count provided at booking
    Additional images are $10 each (includes color + black & white).

    Please don’t screenshot, edit, or share unedited proofs.


    ✨ Retouching Requests
    Advanced retouching (body shaping, heavy acne removal, object removal, etc.) is $20 per image, billed before editing begins.


    🖥 Final Gallery & Downloads
    Final, hand-edited images are delivered up to 2 weeks after your image selections.
    You’ll receive an email when your gallery is ready (check spam just in case).

    Your gallery stays active for one month — please download and back up your images promptly.

    While you’re welcome to print anywhere, I can’t guarantee print quality from labs not used by KLP.

    Kristin LaRue Photography retains copyright.
    You receive a print release for personal use.

    Images may be used for portfolio, website, and promotions — always in good taste. Please credit Kristin LaRue Photography when sharing online and don’t apply filters or edits.

    I understand that Kristin LaRue Photography is built on kindness, respect, and clear communication. KLP reserves the right to decline or discontinue services if interactions become disrespectful, hostile, or inappropriate, including harassment, bullying, or unreasonable pressure regarding timelines. In these situations, payments are non-refundable.

    I understand that Kristin LaRue Photography may decline requests or bookings that fall outside of personal or professional comfort.

    I understand that images will not be edited or delivered until all balances are paid in full, including session fees, additional image purchases, and any requested retouching.

    I understand that final, hand-edited images may take up to two (2) weeks to be completed after my session date or after final payment is received.
