2024 Advancing Women Organization Nomination

Nominations submitted Janaury 1, 2024 or later will be considered for the 2025 event.
Objectives of the Women of Distinction Awards Event:
1. To honor women and organizations advancing women, from the Girl Scouts of North East Ohio council service area, who go above and beyond to make our communities better places to live and work.
2. To highlight these women and organizations, who embody the core values of Girl Scouts and provide girls with positive role models.
3. To benefit Girl Scouts of North East Ohio by raising funds to support the Girl Scout Leadership Experience for girls throughout our 18-county footprint.
Nomination Instructions

For the Advancing Women Award, the Selection Committee will consider nominations of organizations demonstrating strong committment to advancing women in the workplace.

Nominations will be reviewed anonymously by the Selection Committee and the organization contacts will be notified in February 2024 and, if they are selected, your candidate will be included in the event program.

Nominators may watch for the public announcement (website, social media) from GSNEO to find out who was selected as an honoree; announcement to be made in February 2024. Individual notifications will not be sent to nominators.

Nominators are allowed to re-nominate candidates in subsequent years if their candidate is not chosen.

The 2024 Women of Distinction event will be held in spring 2024.

Nominations for the 2024 Awards close at 11:59 PM on December 31, 2023. Nominations received beginning 12:00 AM January 1, 2024 will be considered for the 2025 event.
