What has been Ascend Math’s impact on student achievement? What are the actual outcomes (Ascend results, state or third-party test results, etc)? Tell us your process in determining these outcomes. *

For example: In a third party growth monitoring assessment, all students have shown tremendous growth with the 7th grade students outpacing typical growth by 123%. During mid- September through mid-April over 55% of students have completed 1 or more levels. Over 10% have completed 2 or more levels, we have seen a positive increase in NWEA growth scores with some students increasing by 10 or more points (common growth is 5-6 points).

Example: Ascend Math allows me to keep my students engaged as follows • It allows me to have clear procedures and routines. •It allows me to easily identify students for small instructional groupings and provides the materials for the lessons •It provides a safe space for my students to make mistakes and then learn from them. It also provides a safe space for student feedback and respect. Student engagement has resulted in a decline in discipline referrals. Ascend Math assists with supporting Executive Functioning skills
