The SAFE Team is a core group of educators and trained facilitators (members and non-members) responsible for educating undergraduate members in the area of harm reduction, values, safe alcohol use, and preventing high-risk behaviors.
Attend the annual Prevention Institute, held in January each year, to serve as a small-group facilitator.
Review and offer feedback to chapters on their annual Risk Reduction Plan (RRP).
During the triennium (2019-2021), travel and lead Sisterhood and Safety retreat once for all assigned chapters (approximately 2-3 visits per year). Priorities determined in partnership with the AED, schedules determined by the volunteers in partnership with the chapter.
Assist with at least one area of the National Prevention plan focusing on alcohol, hazing, sexual assault, mental health, and restorative justice OR assist with
Social Event registration review.
Attend at least 1 STRIDES retreat visit per triennium.
Actively fulfill a three-year commitment or reimburse the National Organization for all training and development costs.
*all travel, lodging, and meal expenses are covered by the National Organization.
