This funding program is for Iowa Residents who live in Southwestern's college district and those who intend to live and work in Iowa upon successful completion of the training program.  Non-citizens or those planning to leave the state will not be eligible.

Non-credit certificate programs are given priority consideration for PACE funds.

Credit CTE students: PACE assistance may be available for eligible credit CTE programs for a limited number of applicants per year.  Assistance options are limited.  Applications from credit students will be accepted beginning July 1 of each year and no later than two weeks after start of the fall semester. Applications received after second week of fall semester may not be eligible for assistance for that academic year.

I agree to provide all the proper proof and documentation to Southwestern Community College GAP/PACE program for eligibility determination purposes.  I am also aware the information I provide may be reviewed and verified and that I may have to provide additional documents to support this information. Further, I understand this information will be used to determine my eligibility for GAP Tuition Assistance and for the services that SWCC’s PACE Program could provide.  I understand that each application is reviewed and approved on an individual basis and may not reflect what others have received.  I acknowledge I am subject to immediate termination and may be prosecuted for fraud if I am found ineligible after enrollment or if I have provided false information.  I authorize the use of my Social Security Number as an identifier for the program. 

SWCC acknowledges that an applicant’s employment status could change after being enrolled, if any changes in finances occur the program staff must be updated and notified for tracking purposes.

I understand that eligibility for tuition assistance under this chapter shall not be construed as a guaranteed enrollment in any community college certificate program.
