Location: San Jose, California - Downtown

Parade Route: One mile – Start at the intersection of Almaden Boulevard and Santa Clara Street and proceed east on Santa Clara Street, turns right onto Market Street passing Plaza de Cesar Chavez, and end at San Carlos Street.

Anticipated Attendance: 20,000

Each year, the parade has taken place in San Jose honoring veterans with support from the City of San Jose, Santa Clara County, and contributions from many individuals and organizations. This parade, the largest Veterans Day Parade in Northern California, honors all who served or are currently serving their country.

Please read parade general parade guidelines. Respond early to be considered for placement in our parade. Completing an entry application does not guarantee a spot in the parade. Parade organizers will approve applicants. Notification of acceptance will be emailed.

CAR CLUBS – NEW THIS YEAR:
A maximum of four car clubs will be accepted for participation. Each club must include at least three vehicles, with a limit of eight. A $50.00 entry fee is required for each car participating in the club entry. Also, MOAA requests that a veteran be either driving or riding in each vehicle.

As an authorized representative of this organization/business and its participating members, I/we hereby understand and agree to accept the risk of bodily injury and/or property damage which I/we may incur or cause a third party to incur as a result of my/our participation in the Veterans’ Day Parade. With this understanding, I/we further agree to indemnify, defend and save harmless the Military Officers Association of America SVC, Santa Clara County, Upbeat Parade Productions, LLC and City of San Jose, its Boards, its Commissions and their respective officers, agents, and employees from and against any and all claims, losses, injuries, suits, and judgments arising from, or in connection with/my successors, assigns, heirs, executors and administrators, and any other persons or entity's who/which may have a claim based on my/our personal injuries and/or property damage. I/we further understand and agree that this save harmless and indemnification shall apply to and all facilities that the Military Officers Association of America SVC, Santa Clara County, Upbeat Parade Productions, LLC and City of San Jose may own and/or control. I/we further certify that our organization/business maintains insurance coverage appropriate for our participation in the Event, including coverage for our participants, vehicles, floats, equipment, and activities, and that such insurance will remain in effect throughout the Event. Upon request, I/we agree to provide proof of insurance in the form of a certificate of insurance or other acceptable documentation prior to participating in the Event. I/We understand that segments of the media will be present at the parade and I/WE grant an unconditional release for all rights of publications, press, radio, and television present and future, along with all video and photographic rights by virtue of their appearance. Furthermore, I/we have read and agree to abide by the Veterans’ Day Parade guidelines and rules, as shown in the pages provided and those to be presented with the participant's information package if my unit is accepted.
