The Royal Academy’s Library and Archive have put together a list of useful research resources.
The Royal Academy of Arts is not in a position to assist with the identification, attribution or valuation of works of art.
You are able to use the library to conduct your own research, however for attribution of works of art we suggest contacting a reputable auction house such as Christies, Sotheby’s, Bonham’s or Phillips.
Enquiries made to the RA Library and Archive are responded to in the order they are received, so during periods of exceptionally high demand responses may take up to 3 weeks.
