  • Churchie uses a variety of publications and digital platforms to share information with our community, to promote and recognise student achievements, and to engage with our parent community and beyond.

    Central to Churchie's communications and marketing activities are images and video that include students. 

    Respecting the student’s right to privacy, the School requires parental permission to use student images in school publications and a select group of third-party publications.

    Your permission to publish consent will apply on a continuing basis for the duration of a student's time at the School. Parents may change permission at any time via this form or via myChurchie.

  • Give permission to Anglican Church Grammar School (the School) to publish photographs or video, which include of the identifiable image of the following student, in school publications (both print and digital) and a limited group of third-party publications, as listed below.
     
  • In giving parental and/or student permission to publish student images, the parent/student must confirm their understanding of the following:

    1. The School may record photographs, sounds and/or video images while the student takes part in the School’s academic, sport or other co-curricular activities.

    2. The student owns the intellectual property rights in the photographs, sounds, video, and that permission to publish is not meant to transfer ownership.

    3. Permission to publish student images in school publications: If permission to publish is granted, the School can use visual material containing the student’s image in (and limited to) the school publications listed below, both in print and digital formats):

    • Eagles’ Wings biannual magazine
    • the weekly school newsletter
    • Churchie website
    • Churchie social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn
    • Churchie Old Boys’ Association website
    • Churchie Old Boys’ Association social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn)

    4. Permission to publish student images in select third-party publications: If permission to publish is granted, the School can provide visual material containing the student’s image to the following organisations closely linked with the School for third-party publications:

    • The GPS Association of Queensland (website, event programmes, GPS social media)
    • Anglican Church Southern Queensland (Focus magazine, website)
    • Anglican Schools Association (ASA News, website)
    • Somerville House and St Margaret's Anglican Girls School (for photos taken at joint-school events) 

    5. The School will seek additional permission for all instances not listed here, such as media enquiries, advertising (billboards, newspapers) and third-party uses not listed above.

    6. Permission to publish does not apply to internal uses, such as myChurchie and Pixevety photo platform, which are access controlled to current school community members only.

    7. The School may reproduce the content containing the student image in any form, in whole or in part, and distribute it by any medium listed above (school publications and select third-party publications).

    8. The student and/or the person named above providing this permission acknowledges that the student and/or the person providing this permission will have no right to payment by the School in relation to the use of the information for the purposes described above.

    9. If permission to publish is not provided, or the School does not receive a response, visual media featuring identifiable images of your son will be used on internal school publications/platforms only.

    10. This consent remains valid until withdrawn by the parent via this form, via myChurchie, or in writing to the Director of Marketing and Communications.
