Philanthropy encompasses a desire to promote the welfare of others and good causes through the giving of time or money and has played a key role at Churchie. Since 1989, the Churchie Foundation has raised over $25 million for the School which has assisted the School to advance with state-of-the-art buildings and services for our young men. The construction of Morris Hall, Sir John Pidgeon Sports Complex and Barry McCart Aquatic Centre are examples of the positive impact that philanthropy has had at the School.
The Churchie Foundation Overseas Study Scholarship for Old Boys is an initiative that serves to embrace a philanthropic culture. Many Old Boys that have been fortunate to benefit from this program recognise the importance of philanthropy and are now supporting the Churchie Foundation.
