Each Worship Band member is able to choose the frequency with which he or she is scheduled to play (at the discretion of the Minister of Music & Worship). In addition, when members are scheduled for a particular Sunday, they are expected to attend rehearsal at 6:15pm on the Wednesday prior to their scheduled Sunday. We are generally able to be quite flexible about scheduling around conflicts (i.e. vacations, work-related issues, etc.). Do you agree to be on time for all rehearsals for which you are scheduled, as well as lead in worship services for which you are scheduled, unless Providentially hindered?

When Worship Band members are scheduled to play on a Sunday, they are expected to play in both morning worship services (8:30am & 11:00am), as well as attend the warm-up/rehearsal prior to the 8:30am service. Will your schedule allow you to do this, unless Providentially hindered?

The Worship Band ministry is an auditioned group. Your audition will consist of the following:

1. A instrumental "solo" (of your choosing). Rhythm players may find the "solo" problematic, so we allow this part of the audition to take one of many forms:

- an actual solo instrumental performance OR
- playing your instrument along with a track (you supply the track) OR
- playing your instrument along with a singer (you recruit the singer) OR
- playing your instrument along with another instrumentalist (you recruit the other player)

2. Play your instrument on a traditional hymn arrangement of our choosing. We will email the kind of printed music that serves you best and a full-mix listening track of the hymn to you before your audition.
