Thank you for considering working with us this summer.
We are delighted that you believe that teaching the future is important.
We are developing foresight teaching materials using a crowd sourcing strategy, among others. We believe that teachers have the skill and the experience to create terrific activities, lessons, units and courses that introduce students to the future and to the skills they will need to live in a world of increasing change and complexity.
Don't know foresight? That's OK because you can learn as you earn since we help you take what you teach and futurize it. And we are paying for completed modules. If you know about foresight already and perhaps have even taught some, you can package that up using our templates, and we'll pay you for that, too.
As soon as you sign up, Katie King (secondary) or Alex Whittington (college) will be in touch with you with more information. So join the movement to Teach the Future now!
The process will work like this –
- We collect your contact information and your teaching experience here.
- The team leader will let you know about your application within a few days.
- You will receive an orientation packet, including the types of materials to be developed, templates and criteria for each type, and a schedule of stipends for each type.
- You also have the opportunity to discuss your work with one of the team leaders.
- You then suggest the types and content of the modules you would like to develop.
- The team leader gives you the green light to proceed.
- You submit the first draft of your materials.
- The team leader reviews and provides feedback on the draft.
- You submit a final draft.
- Materials that meet the criteria will receive the full stipend.
