What: USAHA Student Travel ScholarshipWhen: October 13-19, 2016Where: Sheraton Greensboro Hotel, Greensboro, NC Why: To promote student interest in careers in public veterinary practice and diagnostic veterinary medicine. The United States Animal Health Association (USAHA)"s 1200 members are state and Federal animal health officials, national allied organizations, and individual members. The organization works with state and Federal governments, universities, research scientists, veterinarians, and others to protect animal and public health, and control livestock diseases in United States and globally. The American Association of Veterinary Laboratory Diagnosticians (AAVLD) consists of more than 1200 members from 35 different countries and seeks to disseminate information relating to the diagnosis of animal diseases, including establishing, improving, and developing new diagnostic techniques. Qualifications for Scholarship1. Applicant must be a veterinary student and an AAAP student member. Applicants must submit the following by September 2, 2016:1. Application form2. Letter of support from an AAAP member. (The letter of support should be uploaded as a part of this online application.) The AAAP Board of Directors will review applications and choose one student for this scholarship each year. Applicants will be notified of their decision by September 30, 2016.
