Three fellows from the European Paediatric Orthopaedic Society (EPOS) will be traveling within North America for 2 weeks in April 2027. Their visit will culminate at the 2027 POSNA Annual Meeting on April 27-29, in Indianapolis, Indiana.
We are looking for institutions to serve as local hosts for the three EPOS fellows. The group will travel to 3-4 institutions prior to the annual meeting, with each visit lasting 2-3 days.
As a local host, you will provide a well-rounded experience, including activities outside of your institution. We encourage you to show off your city. Examples include taking the fellows to sightsee landmarks, go on a hike, dine at a local hot spot, etc.
If you are chosen to be a local host:
- A tentative itinerary must be submitted to the POSNA office at the time of selection as well as a completed itinerary submitted 4 weeks prior to the fellows' departure date.
- Hospital administration paperwork and all vaccination requirements for the Traveling Fellows must be sent to the Traveling Fellows and POSNA by January 2027.
- You are responsible for lodging arrangements and some meals for the three fellows while they are in your city. Housing confirmations are to be submitted to the POSNA office 4 weeks prior to the fellows' departure date.
- A transportation itinerary must also be submitted four weeks prior to arrival (i.e. from airport to hotel and from hotel to facility).
