Des Plaines Hall has 3 floors and houses 87 students with two students per room. It has one common bath per floor and a vanity in each standard room (a few rooms do not have a vanity). It has a lounge, a laundry room, a kitchen, central heat, and high-speed filtered internet. Each room has its own heating and cooling unit.

Hoops Hall opened in 2009 with 3 floors housing 55 students with two students per room, one common bath on each floor, and has two handicapped rooms. Each room has its own heating and cooling unit, two vanities, and high-speed filtered internet. Each floor has a lounge and a laundry room.

McCarrell Hall has 4 floors and houses 106 students with two students per room. It has two common baths per floor. It has a lounge, two laundry rooms, a kitchen, central heat, and high-speed filtered internet.

Appalachian Village is a married student community of 24 duplex townhouses on the college campus. Each unit has two floors, three bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths, living room and kitchen furnished with a stove and refrigerator. Space is provided for a stackable washer and dryer. Water, sewer, waste disposal, parking, and high-speed internet are provided with tenant paying for all other utilities. A limited number of five bedroom units are periodically available.
