  • Below is our Guest Returning Booking form which needs to be completed and endorsed 7 days prior to check-in to ensure that DOGUE Country Retreat has all the important information for your canine family member(s) to settle in quickly. Please note this form is only for guests who have already attended the Retreat or who have already completed the New Guest Details Form. Please Note: Christmas, School Holiday and Easter bookings require a 50% non-refundable deposit that will be deducted from the accommodation cost. Christmas, Easter and School Holidays - minimum weekly i.e. 5 day stay / bookings Full payment is required for accommodation stay at or before check-in and can be paid by cash, eftpos or credit card. Extra charges incurred during the stay will be paid at check-out.   • TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF STAYING AT DOGUE COUNTRY RETREAT
  • Check-in: 9:00am – 11:00am and Check-out: 2.00pm – 4:00pm, 6 days a week.

    During peak holidays and public holidays these do change.

    Please note: the term “carer” refers to the person responsible for making decisions and making all payments for the duration of the guests stay. The term “guest” refers to all the carer’s dog(s) staying At the DOGUE Country Retreat.

  • GENERAL TERMS:

    • DOGUE Country Retreat exercises reasonable care for safety but cannot guarantee against accidents or loss.
    • Carer is liable for any property damage or injury caused by their dog(s)
    • DOGUE is not responsible for loss/damage to belongings.
  • BOARDING REQUIREMENTS:

    • All dogs MUST wear a collar with ID (ID tag or personalised collar)
    • All harnesses, food, treats, and toys MUST be labelled.
    • All food being supplied MUST be in separate individual containers or zip lock bags PER MEAL
    • No food bowls or large bedding will be accepted.
    • Training pads (if used) must be supplied by the carer.
  • DESEXING:

    • All guests over 6 months must be desexed (certificate required).
    • Males with contraceptive chip permitted (with proof).
    • Puppies under 6 months may board, if not in season or sexually mature.
  • VACCINATIONS & HEALTH:

    • Current C5 Vaccination Certificate or valid Titre Certificate required.
    • These records must be provided at least 48 hours prior to check-in.
    • Guests must be flea-free and tick-free and up to date with flea, tick and worming treatments.
  • FLEA, TICK & ILLNESS PROTOCOL:

    • DOGUE may apply treatment if parasites are detected, and costs will be added to the final bill.
    • DOGUE is not liable for any tick paralysis, snake or insect bites, or canine influenza.
    • The rural environment increases exposure risks compared to urban areas.
  • MEDICATION &  VETERINARY CARE:

    • All Prescription medications must be in original containers and are clearly labelled.
    • DOGUE staff administer medication per vet instructions.
    • DOGUE is authorised to obtain veterinary care as needed at the carer’s expense.
    • Every attempt will be made to contact the carer first.
  • SENIORS, SPECIAL NEEDS & HEALTH:

    • Senior and special-needs guests are more vulnerable to illness or stress. By boarding, carers acknowledge and accept this risk.
    • If a dog passes while in our care, they will be respectfully transported to the carer’s vet (or nearest 24-hour facility if necessary). Trip charges apply.
  • ABANDONED GUESTS:

    • If uncollected after 14 days and we have had no contact from carer, DOGUE reserves the right to rehome or make appropriate arrangements.
  • FIRE AND OTHER NATURAL EVENTS:

    • Comprehensive fire and evacuation plan is in place.
    • DOGUE is not liable for injury or loss due to fire or natural disasters.
  • PAYMENT TERMS:

    Deposits:

    • Off Peak: 10% (non-refundable)
    • Peak: 50% (non-refundable). If more than 14-days notice is given for Peak cancellation, 10% of the total booking is non-refundable and all remainder is held on credit. Credits are valid for 12 months.
    • Deposit payments secure your reservation and are non-refundable, as they cover administrative costs and the loss of bookings during high demand periods.


    Remaining balance:

    • Full payment due before or at check-in (Bondi transport dogs cannot pay at drop off).
    • No refunds for early departures.
    • All fees must be paid before departure.

    We do not refund over-payments but hold them as credit on our account.

  • Canine guests shall not leave DOGUE Country Retreat until all fees owing to DOGUE Country Retreat have been paid in full.

  • DEPOSITS:

    10% non-refundable deposit is required for all off-peak bookings. 50% non-refundable deposit is required for all peak bookings which include public holidays and school holidays. Guests are fully registered once their deposit is received.
