Application Form - Family of the Year

The USTA Southwest Section honors one family each year for outstanding service through volunteerism and participation in promoting tennis within the community.
PURPOSE: This award is given for extended volunteerism by several members of one family. Although tennis professionals may be eligible, only the volunteer work of the professional will be evaluated.

CRITERIA: Among the criteria to be considered when nominating:
1. USTA membership.
2. Family members’ service in volunteering to foster tennis in such activities as conducting tournaments, developing and/or sustaining junior and adult programs, holding office in any level of the USTA and volunteer coaching
3. Family members’ competition in tennis in a manner that promotes the sport.
4. Enriching the game of tennis in other related activities.
5. Previous nominees may be resubmitted.
