Scholarship Assistance for Uniform/Insignia, Program Events and Adult Trainings
In order to remove financial barriers to participation in Girl Scouts, limited funds are available to cover some expenses. This application covers financial assistance requests for uniform and insignia, program events excluding summer camp, and adult training opportunities.

Membership is REQUIRED:

The person receiving the funds must be a registered active Girl Scout member. (Assistance for membership is available for Girls and Adults on a separate form)

Instructions:
Requests are reviewed on an individual basis and limited as follows:
- Uniform/Insignia: One per Girl Scout program level, for active youth Girl Scouts ONLY (not adults).
- Program Events: Two per Girl Scout year. Covering costs for active youth Girl Scouts ONLY (not adults).
- Adult Training: Two per Girl Scout year, for active youth or adult Girl Scout members.
Additional Notes:
- Funds already spent will not be reimbursed.
- Form must be completed by the parent/guardian or directly by Senior/Ambassador Girl Scout for themself.
- A troop leader may submit a request for a girl with the permission of the parent/guardian.
- Requests for entire troops as a group are not allowed. All requests are considered on an individual basis - by family/girl.
What kind of financial aid are you applying for?

Uniform, insignia and printed materials (includes Daisy Tunic or Sash only for grade level, Council ID patch, up to 5 troop numbers, membership pin, insignia tab, and flag) NO VEST: Current processing time of 1-2 weeks minimum. (Allow 7-10 days based on the postal system to receive the package after the application is processed.)Program Events hosted by Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta (non-summer camp): Processing time asap. Request sent to event program contact. Register for event FIRST, then complete this application for support.Adult Training: Processing time asap. Request sent to Training Team. Register for event once financial assistance is received.

Girl Scout Uniforms & Insignia

Girl Scout members only
Uniform Requests should be completed to allow a Girl Scout to wear the uniform during the traditional Girl Scout year. Requests will be granted on a cycle between April 1 - March 30. Requests after April 1 will only be provided to Girl Scouts who are renewed for the new membership year and the uniform provided will be at the appropriate renewed level. (I.E. A Girl Scout bridging from Brownie to Junior will receive a Junior level uniform.)

Only one uniform request per Fiscal Year can be approved.

Program Events
Fees for Council-sponsored events. Assistance is generally given to cover only 50% of the event fee, but is adjusted as needed for each program. In some cases a deposit may be required.

Summer camp has a separate application process, but all other program event financial aid can be requested on this form and will be sent to the event team contact for approval.
